Therma holdings is in immediate need of a Director of Infrastructure & Security!

The Director, Infrastructure & Security oversees the IT Infrastructure & Security function.  This position is accountable for the implementation and operations of all technology infrastructure which includes data center (Azure), network, identity, email/calendar, telephony, service monitoring, service desk, end use devices, storage and related software.  Additionally, this individual is responsible for the protection of our digital assets and overall security posture.  This position partners with their peers in IT Product Management and Enterprise System Engineering functions to delivery world class solutions to our employee base and power our enterprise.  This position will lead development of our infrastructure architecture and infrastructure technology roadmap.

This position provides thought leadership to shape Therma’s technical architecture.  This individual will develop and drive consistency across a broad technical landscape (e.g. Azure, Enterprise Network).  This individual has the capability to take explicit business requirements as well as implied requirements (extrapolation) into technical solution designs consistent with Therma’s architecture principals.  This person is then able to implement those solutions either directly or by proving leadership and oversight to others (internal and external).  This position will define and implement consistent ITSM (IT Service Management) capabilities (service desk, device engineering, change control, asset mgmt., etc) across the enterprise.  This position will report to Therma’s CIO.


  • Provides leadership and best practices to the Infrastructure and Security team and IT overall and is highly customer focused
  • Delivery of 24-month rolling infrastructure roadmaps
  • Delivery of 12 month rolling security roadmap
  • Ensure architectural consistency across our enterprise
  • Development and implementation of a near zero campus infrastructure footprint
  • Definition, implementation, and measurement of our business continuity strategy
  • Development of enterprise standards, infrastructure architecture and the IT operations governance process (ITSM).
  • Establishes a metric driven approach to solution and operational delivery
  • Establish and measures Service Levels appropriate to the business need
  • Provide leadership and technical direction for full lifecycle enterprise application deployment initiatives (ERP and CRM implementations planned with IFS as well as data analytics initiatives)
  • Is passionate about our user’s experience
  • Design and deliver solutions that are reliable, scalable, secure and perform at service levels associated with mission critical solutions
  • Communicate internally and externally at varying levels of management, including communication technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Develop delivery model for Enterprise Systems that effectively leverages partners for application development and support
  • Be able to effectively communicate with key stakeholders build networks across IT, Users and Partners
  • Architect solutions by mapping user requirements and functional design to reusable end-to-end business application solutions
  • Define Non-functional requirements
  • Engage in senior level business decision discussions related to agility, business value, and business processes
  • Deliver and articulate effective strategic presentations to audiences of all sizes.
  • Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle, this includes managing multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high user satisfaction.
  • Mentor members of the technical team helping grow and shape their development
  • Remain current with emerging delivery methodologies and technology trends



  • Degree in MIS/Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 14+ years of experience working in large scale IT environments and/or consulting experience (including 5+ years in a 24/7 high availability, multi-site enterprise environment)
  • Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant, highly-available server and network architectures.
  • Experience working with cloud delivery providers (i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure).  Azure experience preferred
  • Experience defining and managing an enterprise security program
  • Experience leading IT Service management functions (asset management, change management, service desk, device engineering)
  • Strong infrastructure architecture background for end to end solution delivery
  • Experience designing incentives and SLAs to manage application support
  • A strong understanding of IT environments and technology across multiple industries
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience developing and operating applications serving multiple functional areas (e.g  Finance, Sales, HR, Collaboration)
  • Experience building and operating complex integrations between applications
  • Experience working with off-premise application delivery models (i.e. SaaS, iPaaS, IaaS)  Azure experience preferred
